Primary tasks 

  • Support the editorial director to implement the agreed career pathway
  • Monitor and record staff progression on the career pathway 

Position: Administrator – Career Development Pathway 

Location: Remote  

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week  

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities: 

Coordinate and support the implementation of career development initiatives and training programmes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee participation and progress.
Prepare and distribute relevant materials related to career development opportunities.
Schedule and organise training sessions, workshops, and group sessions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding career development resources.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and development objectives for each staff member. 

Qualifications: 

Proven administrative experience, ideally within a professional or learning environment.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
A genuine interest in supporting employee development and engagement.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.

We offer a competitive salary, enhanced sick pay, 25 days holiday pro rata (equivalent to  15 days) + bank holidays, and access to NEST Pension.

Pay: £25,000-£30,000 per annum, pro rata, dependent on experience

Work Location: Remote

Schedule: 21 hours divided over a minimum of three days, Monday to Friday
