Expert marketing tips shared at Channel 103 Business Club events

Businesses in Jersey got the latest expert advice on ways of getting maximum value from their marketing activity during our exclusive series of free radio advertiser events.

The Channel 103 Business Club sessions, organised with global marketing leaders Evolve Media Sales, updated delegates on the latest industry news including the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on advertising trends and consumer behaviour.

Evolve Media Sales hailed the free event series, held for the sixth year in a row during September, as the “biggest yet”.

Businesses attending the event had the opportunity to the Channel 103 Business Club, providing access to marketing opportunities at discounted prices for an extended period, which gave firms the chance to plan their marketing campaigns at an agreed rate.

Popular station Channel 103 broadcasts to Jersey on 103.7FM, online and DAB+.

The organisers said registrations for the Business Club sessions were the highest to date, with attendances up year on year for the 20 presentations held across four days at the Radisson Blu Jersey in St Helier.

Guest speaker Nick Shaw, of Evolve Media Sales, said: “Following six years of running the Channel 103 Business Club programme, this year was our biggest yet and it is clear that the appetite for Channel 103 and a multimedia focused membership opportunity has never been stronger.

“This year we focussed on the impact AI is having on customers and business decisions while providing local business owners with a unique insight into the ever-changing Jersey digital landscape.

“We also explained ways to implement an omnichannel marketing approach to futureproof business success in 2025.

“With more than 600 businesses invited and the Business Club memberships yet again selling out within the week, the Channel 103 commercial team are now hard at work creating membership strategies for current and new members that will guarantee results and business growth.

“Every year it is a pleasure working with the Channel 103 Team and meeting the thriving Jersey business community. This year was outstanding in every way and from the many conversations I had with local business owners it is clear that there is real passion for success in Jersey.

“I am excited to see the results achieved over the months ahead, so that we can build on this success again for Business Club 2025.”

James Keen, Managing Director of Tindle Radio, said: “The Business Club presentations are among the highlights of the calendar for the Channel 103 sales team, as we get the chance to share industry trends and expertise with them at this popular in person event.

“Channel 103 is valued by our local audience, creating a fantastic opportunity for our advertisers to speak to the community so it is a pleasure to be able to offer this annual event.”
