The communities we serve: Predominantly in North Cornwall / Torridge West Devon with a main focus in Launceston, Bude, Camelford and Holsworthy.

Our approach to local news: We share and highlight significant changes within our areas, providing our readers with accurate facts they can trust, as well as maintaining a positive relationship with our towns and villages.

What is great about the area we serve: The Cornish and Devon Post area is by far one of the most unique areas in Cornwall due to it being so far away from any major city or road link. Surrounded by the coast and arable farmland community is at the heart of everything.

How we help advertising clients: Our expert sales executives provide various multimedia platforms to help people promote their business and to generate more customers/clients.

“The Cornish and Devon Post was first published in 1856 and has been based in Launceston throughout its existence.”

How we make a difference: We serve the community by diving into the past and highlighting news throughout history within our Looking Back section, a real uplift to our readers. We also provide an update from the two serving MPs and inform the constituents of the changes being demanded in Westminster.

Our history: The Cornish and Devon Post was first published in 1856 and has been based in Launceston throughout its existence. The Post was one of the last papers in the UK to have advertisements on the front of the paper, but in April 2020, after 164 years, the paper made the switch from broadsheet to tabloid, with news appearing on the front page for the first time.
