Broadcasting to a potential audience of 145,000 adults across Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney, Soleil plays relaxing favourites from iconic artists like the Bee Gees, Michael Bublé and Adele combined with lifestyle information for adults aged 35 and over.

What is great about the area we serve: Soleil Radio covers the entirety of the Channel Islands, a group of British dependency islands in the off the coast of France. The largest, Jersey, is known for its beautiful beaches and cliff trails. Northwest of Jersey is the island of Guernsey, with its attractive capital, St. Peter Port. The third largest island is Alderney, located just off the Cherbourg peninsula.

How we make a difference:  Soleil Radio is the first brand new terrestrial radio station for the Channel Islands since 1992 and targets an underserved audience aged over 40. Soleil is the first pan-island radio station and provides a comprehensive service of Channel Islands news and lifestyle information compiled by news teams in Jersey and Guernsey.

Our history: Soleil Radio was created by Tindle Radio to complement their existing successful local radio stations Channel 103 in Jersey and Guernsey’s Island FM. Soleil has been designed to be a musical escape, combining easy to listen to songs from the past six decades with Channel Islands news and lifestyle information of particular appeal to listeners over the age of 40.

Soleil launched on the first commercial digital radio multiplex for the Channel Islands on August 1st 2021 and has quickly built a loyal audience across Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney.
