The communities we serve: The “patch”, covered by eight editions of the newspaper, is a huge one, stretching from Crickhowell in the east to Ystradgynlais in the west and from just north of Merthyr Tydfil in the south to a point several miles into deepest Mid Wales to the north of famous spa town Llandrindod Wells.

Our history: The Brecon and Radnor Express was founded in 1889 by Brecon-based reporter Edwin Poole, who became its first editor. The paper was later run by the Sayce brothers and printed from its current base at the Express buildings, Bulwark Brecon. It became part of the Tindle Group in the early 1990s.
