Jersey businesses tune in to Channel 103 growth events

Channel 103 sales day

More than 250 businesses have attended business growth events in Jersey organised by our local radio station Channel 103.

The free sessions, run across three days at the historic Pomme d’Or hotel in St Helier, introduced businesses to the power of mnemonic branding, the techniques used to make brands stand out, across audio and digital marketing.

The sessions also highlighted the opportunities on offer for island companies looking to reach more than 50,000 listeners to Channel 103 and its new digital sister station Soleil Radio.

Each business growth event included multi-media presentations from international marketing experts Nick Shaw and Becki Leachman from Evolve Media Sales.

The businesses which attended were given the opportunity to benefit from savings of more than 70% on their radio and digital advertising by joining Channel 103’s Platinum Club.

James Keen, Managing Director of Tindle Radio Channel Islands said: “Working with Nick Shaw and his Evolve team has been simply superb.

“Their attention to detail is second to none and the feedback from the Jersey business community has been fantastic.”

Businesses in attendance were also able to benefit from creative audio workshops from Roger Cutsforth from White Label Creative, an experienced radio and audio producer and executive who recently presented at the RadioDays Europe Festival in Malmo, Sweden.

Jarryd Strover of Channel 103 received the Outstanding Performance award for his work throughout the sessions.
