Midlands 103 lands five IMRO radio awards nominations

Our radio station in Ireland Midlands 103 has landed five nominations at the IMRO Radio Awards.

Midlands Today is up for Current Affairs Programme in the Local/Regional category.

Anne Marie Kelly is shortlisted for Specialist Music Broadcaster of the Year, while her ‘Are You Blind or What’ is up for Music, Arts and Culture Documentary.

Ronan Berry’s Saturday View has been nominated for Magazine Programme, while Peter Dunne is hoping to land an award in the Music Special/ Music Event category for his music documentary ’25 Years is a Long Way Baby.’

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on October 4th at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.

The IMRO Radio Awards mark the very best in Irish radio broadcasting and recognise those who have made contributions over the year.

Serving the counties of Laois, Offaly and Westmeath, Midlands 103 is a full service local station offering speech and music programming across a broad schedule.
