Our radio station in Ireland is being rebranded for a day in tribute to a proud local son of its region.
Serving Counties Laois, Offaly and Westmeath, Midlands 103 is billed as “Feel Good Radio”.
The team explain: Midlands 103, as you know it, will be drastically different tomorrow (Sept 13), for a very special reason.
The region’s favourite superstar, Mullingar’s Niall Horan, turns 30 on Wednesday – and to celebrate, we’re re-branding as Niall 103.
The Niall 103 takeover is set to immerse listeners in the world of Niall Horan and One Direction, with a special playlist featuring their greatest hits.
You’ll see the change take effect on your radio, and on our website, and it’ll be in place from 7am until 6pm.
Listeners will also have the chance to nab some prize giveaways throughout the day, so tune in as we celebrate Niall turning 30.
