Miracle baby Noah welcomed by Midlands 103 after IVF success

Our radio station in Ireland Midlands 103 is thrilled to celebrate the joyous arrival of Noah Sexton, a healthy baby boy born to proud parents Denise and Syl Sexton following a successful round of IVF treatment won through an on-air competition.

Noah was born at Portlaoise Hospital on May 10th, weighing seven pounds and two ounces.

After years of trying to conceive naturally without success, Denise and Syl entered Midlands 103’s “Gift of Hope” competition, which awarded them a complete round of fertility treatment from FirstIVF.ie, based in Clane, County Kildare.

The competition garnered dozens of heartfelt entries and Midlands 103 has closely followed the Sextons’ journey to parenthood.

Midlands 103 is a local radio station dedicated to providing feel good content to the communities across Laois, Offaly, Westmeath and beyond. It is a trusted voice and companion to 113,000 weekly listeners.

Managing Director Will Faulkner, pictured left, expressed his delight, stating, “This has been the best project I have been involved with in my 20 plus years of radio. Noah sounds so chatty, he might one day become a radio presenter!”

Denise and Syl, who have named their son Noah Jessie Sexton, shared that they chose “Noah” out of a long-held affection for the name. His middle name, “Jessie,” signifies the “Gift of Hope,” echoing the name of the competition that brought their dream to fruition.

Noah made his first visit to Midlands 103 today, where he was warmly welcomed by the station’s staff. He was very placid as many took turns holding him. Denise reported that he is sleeping well at night, much to the family’s relief, and she is recovering nicely from the caesarian section, despite Noah’s playful game of “hide and seek with the doctors.”

To celebrate this wonderful occasion, the Sexton family left Midlands 103 with a hamper of goodies from Rose Finlay Pharmacy in Tullamore, a treat from the Tullamore Court Hotel, and a custom Midlands 103 branded baby-grow.

Midlands 103 congratulates Denise and Syl Sexton and extends a warm welcome to baby Noah. The station remains committed to supporting its listeners and celebrating their life-changing moments.
