Oasis reunion tickets definitely maybe a win for Channel 103 listeners

Two listeners to our Jersey radio station Channel 103 are heading to London after winning tickets to a sold out Oasis Live ‘25 reunion gig.

Edmundo Barbosa scooped a pair of tickets for the Wembley show in the radio station’s biggest competition ever after correctly answering the question: ‘Oasis secured a record deal with Alan McGee in 1993 – name the label.’

The answer, as any Oasis superfan would know, was Creation Records.

Edmundo, 45, from St Brelade, took part in a grand finale live on Channel 103’s afternoon show and picked the winning envelope containing the sought-after tickets. Watch the video here.

Three runners-up didn’t leave emptyhanded however with each scoring a £100 bar spend at Liberation pubs and restaurants.

Channel 103’s Programme Manager Jason King said the station had been overwhelmed by the response to the promotion, sponsored by Pallot Glass with prizes co-ordinated by NDL Group.

Jason said: “Hundreds of listeners entered to win this amazing prize and the competition definitely got Jersey talking.

“Congratulations to Edmundo – he’s clearly a massive Oasis fan and a deserving winner!”

It is the first competition in a series of ‘Channel 103 Sends You To The Stars’ with tickets to Coldplay amongst the 2025 prizes on offer to listeners in Jersey over the coming months.

Our radio stations Channel 103 and Island FM are the most listened-to radio stations in Jersey and Guernsey, with a combined weekly audience of 76,500 people, 52 per cent of the Channel Islands’ population.
