Gef ready to honour Isle of Man under 30s

Gef and Media Isle of Man, our brands on the Isle of Man, want to hear about the cream of the young talent for their annual 30 Under 30 awards celebration.

Bringing together the best of the community, the 30 Under 30 winners showcase the bright future for the Island.

Nominations are open until Monday 17 March for entries to recognise the very best of the under-30s on the Isle of Man, following last year’s successful event.

Last June, the 30 Under 30 awards ceremony was held at St Matthew’s Church on North Quay in Douglas, with organisers describing the event as “a big old impressive people-cocktail for a night of feel-good schmoozing, boozing, and celebrating”.

The organisers say: Traditional ways of doing things are growing old, and our young people are rewriting the rules.

Island disruptors

With 31% of the island’s community being under the age of 30, it’s time to put these visionaries, disruptors and achievers into the limelight.

Let’s shout about the local community under 30! Join in this exciting campaign which celebrates the future leaders who will drive our island forward.

Ten categories that represent core organisational values and personal attributes leading to individual success underpin the nomination and judging process.

A panel of selected judges will identify 30 exceptional winners who embrace these core values within their role, and who excel in driving growth, success and leadership across the spectrum of the island’s community and economic sectors.

Our vision is to elevate and celebrate an emerging generation of the island’s future leaders and rising stars.

Young energy

Gef’s 30 Under 30 provides outstanding young individuals in the Isle of Man with an energetic digital, social media and print campaign to celebrate and showcase their finest achievements, talents and contributions to our island’s future.

Each year 30 exceptional nominees are recognised and celebrated across an exciting campaign and at our annual Winners’ Party.

Self nominees and people nominating are asked to share which core values and work ethics most represent them or their nominee, their contribution to a business or organisation, their personal development and achievements.

Please ensure that the candidate is under 30 years of age on 15 May 2025 and over 18 as of 24 January 2025 before completing the nomination form below.

Please read our helpful 30 Under 30 Entry Guidelines before submitting your nomination.
